Recommended Clothing

Preparing for the Study Internship is unique as, unlike many of our other projects, you will be based in an urban location whilst simultaneously having to prepare for an experience in a rural location midway through your project. In regards to what clothes we would recommend bringing for the Study Internship, below is a guideline of what we would recommend. For the most part, you will be resort based for the first week, working in the university for the next (which may require slightly smarter clothes), village based for 3 days and then working in a shared working space for the organisations afterwards. Fiji consistently has day- temperatures of 25-32 degrees celsius with the nights generally averaging 18-22 degrees celsius. Suva is renowned for rain based on its geography so expect that most afternoons. If you have prepared and packed clothes for that environment and for those work settings, you can’t go wrong!
