Laidlaw – Community and Health – Aims and Initiatives

For this project, there are 4 key initiatives that you will be assisting to facilitate; Supporting rural communities of Fiji in partnership with the Fijian Ministry of Health. You will work side-by-side with the local youth group to build a community health centre. This will be combined with conducting workshops with a registered village youth group, alongside two of our partner organisations in the Health sector. In addition, each afternoon, you will take part in a trademark feature of a Think Pacific project under the Ministry of iTaukei Affairs: The Culture Course… immerse yourself in Fijian customs and traditional skills and learn from those who know it best.
