As a Think Pacific University ambassador, it would be incredible if you could complete the checklist below!
If you have any additional ideas that you think would work at your university, please go ahead and start the process at your university and share the idea on the Ambassadors Page on Facebook!
Lecture Shout-outs
Not sure what a lecture shout out is? Take a look at the resource’s module for some ideas of how to do this!
Reaching out to societies
We find the examples below are a great start to spreading the word of Think Pacific. In previous years we have had groups of students in societies join program specific projects.
– Sports teams, Physiotherapy, Sports Science (Sports Development Program)
– Geography and Anthropology (Youth Empowerment)
– Psychology, Sociology and Mental Health Nursing (Mental Health)
– Medicine and Nursing (Public Health)
Fairs & Presentations
Attending careers fairs/presentations, either alongside the team or on behalf of us!
– Email the Program Coordinator who is working on your university partnership. (Don’t know who this is? Take a look at the funding and partnerships module!)
Setting up you own!
Set up and run your own presentation!
We absolutely love it when ambassadors run their own presentations, it’s a great opportunity to share your own project stories and have an amazing chance to connect with students at your university.
Take a look at the Resources page for the link to the presentation and the ‘Your presentation’ Module for the steps.
Utilising Social Media
Re-post events and posts from our social media!
– Every presentation/fair we attend we will always post this on our social media pages
– If you are running your own, tag us on Instagram stories and we will re-post for you!
